Senior DevOps Engineer(AWS)

For one of our clients based in Europe, we are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer(AWS).

Details:

• Location: Remote from Latvia or Lithuania
• Start: asap
• Duration: 6 months + extension

Scope:

• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps)
• Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
• Build and support microservices-based and serverless architectures (e.g., ECS, Lambda)
• Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Datadog
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and reusable tooling (Python)
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance platform capabilities and best practices

Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in AWS / DevOps / Platform Engineering roles
• Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (serverless and container-based services)
• 2+ years of hands-on Python (automation, scripting, tooling)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Datadog)

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to FinOps (cloud cost optimization)
• Interest or experience in AI-driven automation or prompt engineering
• AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate)
