IT Workplace Solutions Engineer

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Workplace Solutions Engineer to design, build, and own the systems that power employee productivity and collaboration across Microsoft 365 and open-source platforms.

The role is intentionally split: approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to engineering work—system upgrades, integrations, and migrations, including designing and maintaining M365 and open-source solutions—and 50% will be spent on operational ownership and support across Windows, Linux, and macOS environment, focusing on root-cause fixes, automation, and long-term reliability improvements.

What you will do:

• Provide support across Windows, Linux, and macOS envinroment, driving root-cause resolution and reducing recurring issues through automation
• Own and engineer Microsoft workplace platforms (Intune, Entra ID, Defender, SharePoint Online), including configuration standards, lifecycle management, and operational excellence
• Design and deliver upgrades, integrations, and migrations (planning, testing, cutover/rollback), ensuring secure and reliable workplace and collaboration environments
• Modernize and operate open-source systems and the M365 solution stack that enable employee collaboration, improving performance, security, and reliability
• Engineer identity and access management (joiner/mover/leaver processes, role-based access, and access reviews) while strengthening endpoint security and compliance
• Partner with IT, Security, and business stakeholders to design solutions, define requirements, and translate them into scalable implementations
• Continuously improve the workplace platform through standardization, documentation/runbooks, and self-service automation that improves reliability and user experience
  
  

What we expect from you:

• Strong experience in IT Workplace / End-User Computing roles
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Defender, and SharePoint
• Experience working with Linux, macOS and open-source systems and platforms
• Ability to balance user support with engineering and platform ownership
  
  

Bonus points for:

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
• System administration experience (Linux/Windows servers: patching, monitoring, backups, and basic networking)
• Experience designing and delivering IT solutions (solution implementation, server builds, integrations, and migrations; documenting architecture and operating procedures)
• Scripting and automation skills
• Experience in fintech or regulated environments
