We are looking for a Java Developer to contribute to the development of our web platform - working with modern technologies, supporting backend and frontend systems, and helping deliver scalable, reliable user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java
• Build and enhance user-facing features using React
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
• Integrate and work with RESTful APIs and external services
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Debug issues, fix bugs, and contribute to improving system performance and reliability

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Java development
• Strong experience with Java, and preferably React
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript
• Experience working with REST APIs and understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, including PostGIS, and SQLite) and basic knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., CouchDB)
• Familiarity with Git, Gradle, and basic UNIX/Linux environments
• Understanding of design patterns, clean code principles, and web performance basics

Compensation

Fixed salary depending on experience: € 3700-4200 gross/month + annual bonuses.
