We Are Looking

As a Senior Laravel Developer, you won’t just be another coder in the machine; you will be a technical anchor for our engineering team. We are looking for a veteran who can balance high-velocity shipping with long-term architectural integrity.

We value shipping over ceremony. At Fleming, we keep the overhead low - no heavy methodologies or endless meetings. We rely on a quick daily stand-up to sync and then give you the autonomy to do what you do best: build great software. You’ll spend most of your time producing high-quality, test-backed code for our projects. Since we are a growing startup, you’ll also be welcome to participate in planning, workflow improvement, and technical design without the corporate red tape.

• Architect & Scale: Lead the design and development of robust, scalable back-end systems and high-performance APIs using Laravel.
• Technical Leadership: Own the lifecycle of complex features and drive architectural improvements that future-proof our platforms.
• Champion Quality: Set the standard for clean, maintainable, and strictly tested code across our repositories.
• Collaborate Across Domains: Partner with front-end engineers, designers, and data scientists to turn ambitious concepts into functional reality.
• Elevate the Team: Provide insightful code reviews and mentor junior/mid-level developers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Refine the Engine: Continuously improve our development workflows, CI/CD processes, and deployment automation.

We Expect

• 5+ years of professional experience mastery in PHP (specifically Laravel; Symfony experience is a major plus).
• Deep expertise in relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL), including optimization and complex schema design.
• A "test-first" mindset with extensive experience in unit, integration, and feature testing.
• Mastery of OOP, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
• Strong experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• A proactive communication style with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Lithuanian.

Bonus Points For

• Hands-on experience with DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience in the digital health or wellness tech sector.

Salary

Gross salary range: 5000 – 7000 EUR/month

*Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
