Senior UNIX Application System Engineer

🔍 We are looking for a Senior UNIX Application System Engineer to join a critical IT production environment . The role focuses on managing and maintaining UNIX-based infrastructures (AIX & RHEL), supporting application deployments, and ensuring system stability, security, and high availability.

🎯 What are the requirements?

• Strong experience with UNIX systems (AIX, RHEL) in production environments
• Proven background in application deployment, system administration, and infrastructure management
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes, change management, and production operations
• Experience in virtualized environments, scripting, monitoring tools, and backup solutions
• Knowledge of security best practices (hardening, patching, password policies)
• Ability to work autonomously in complex, high-availability banking systems
• Fluent in French

📊 What will your responsibilities be?

• Manage and maintain UNIX environments (AIX, RHEL) hosting critical banking applications
• Perform system installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations
• Support application deployments, testing, and production releases
• Ensure system stability, monitoring, backup processes, and security compliance
• Participate in incident resolution, system improvements, and ongoing infrastructure optimization
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and follow internal procedures
