Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Languages: English mandatory; French is an asset
Location: Luxembourg
Responsibilities:
Cloud environments
- Design and manage cloud architectures covering compute, storage, networking, and identity management
- Implement infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools (such as Terraform and similar solutions)
- Contribute to cloud governance practices (security, compliance, cost optimization, tagging strategies)
- Support cloud migration initiatives and application modernization projects
Hybrid infrastructure
- Manage environments combining on-premises systems and public cloud platforms
- Administer virtualized environments and Windows/Linux server systems
- Oversee networking components including DNS, VPNs, load balancing, and interconnectivity
Operations & security
- Ensure the stability and availability of critical production services
- Manage identity and access systems, including directory services
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring solutions
- Troubleshoot incidents and address performance or availability issues
Collaboration & projects
- Work closely with engineering, security, and project teams
- Participate in IT transformation initiatives and system integration projects
- Provide technical input on architecture and design decisions
- Document solutions and contribute to improving internal standards and practices
Profile:
- Several years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
- Experience working with hybrid enterprise environments
- Cloud services: compute, networking, storage, identity & access management
- Active Directory administration and related infrastructure services
- Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or equivalents)
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies and Windows/Linux systems
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPN, DNS, load balancing, cloud connectivity)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working in complex, fast-paced environments
- Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or equivalent)
- Certifications in automation or systems engineering
- Experience in highly regulated or large-scale enterprise environments
