The Role

Many retailers struggle with inefficient and complex return processes. This platform is designed to simplify and optimize those workflows, creating seamless and integrated solutions for customers. As Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building the software that connects the platform to the systems retailers already use. This includes developing integrations using modern technologies and ensuring reliable data synchronization across e-commerce platforms, logistics providers, inventory systems, and payment services. You will also contribute to workflow automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop product features addressing complex return workflows
• Own technical solutions end-to-end, from discovery through to implementation and monitoring
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams through pairing and feedback loops
• Contribute to architecture, system design, and technical discovery
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Integrate with external platforms and internal systems
• Use modern tools, including AI, to enhance development efficiency and outcomes
• Support data-related initiatives when needed

Requirements

Candidates should ideally have:

• A bachelor’s degree in a computing-related field
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and backend development (e.g. Node.js)
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL
• Experience working with REST APIs and GraphQL
• Comfort working with AI-assisted development tools
• Strong communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Experience with e-commerce platforms
• Familiarity with serverless technologies and workflow automation tools
