Build AI products from the ground up at an early-stage startup in Amsterdam

Tired of working on AI features that never make it beyond internal demos?

This startup is building AI-native software from day one, not as an add-on, but as a core part of the product itself.

As one of the first engineering hires, you’ll work directly with the founders on scalable systems, modern AI workflows and product infrastructure that will shape the future direction of the company.

You’ll operate in a highly technical environment where ownership matters more than hierarchy and where engineers are expected to think beyond tickets and sprint boards.

The challenge

The company is entering a new phase where AI becomes deeply embedded into the core platform and engineering workflows.

They’re looking for an engineer who enjoys building from scratch, solving difficult technical problems and working closely with experienced founders in a fast-moving environment.

You’ll help design and build:

• Scalable backend systems

• Modern AI-powered workflows

• Product infrastructure and integrations

• Internal tooling and platform capabilities

• Reliable, production-grade applications
