🚀 Senior iOS Developer

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 6–12 months (renewable every 6 months)

Rate: €500-550/day (negotiable)

🔹 Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer (Freelance) to join a high‑impact banking program in Amsterdam. You will work on native iOS development with a strong focus on card‑related functionalities, regulatory changes, and compliance‑driven enhancements defined by external stakeholders.

The assignment is initially for 6–12 months, with the possibility of renewal every 6 months based on performance and project needs.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native iOS features using Swift
• Resolve and refactor legacy code, including accessibility improvements
• Work on card functionality changes driven by compliance and external parties
• Collaborate proactively with cross‑functional teams to refine future features
• Contribute to a stable, secure, and scalable iOS codebase
• Ensure accessibility and interface design best practices are followed

🔹 Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of professional experience in iOS development
• Strong expertise in Swift and native iOS development
• Experience working with UIKit and SwiftUI
• Solid understanding and hands‑on experience with VIP Clean architecture
• Proven ability to work independently without hand‑holding
• Experience collaborating within a large developer community
• Strong communication skills and a proactive team mindset
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and interface design principles
• Experience with Objective‑C refactoring

🔹 Nice to Have

• Experience with modern Swift Concurrency
• Previous experience in banking or financial services
