Senior Software Engineer

We’re hiring a Java/Kotlin Developer to join our Amsterdam team and help shape the future of how millions of customers interact with us online.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot
• Work closely with architects and business stakeholders to drive our transition toward AI-driven, conversational web experiences
• Bring innovation to the table — explore and prototype new ideas around agentic AI, intelligent assistants, and natural language interfaces
• Deploy and run services on Microsoft Azure Cloud, leveraging modern cloud-native patterns
• Communicate technical vision clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences — inspiring the business is part of the job
• Act as a mentor and role model within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
