Senior Product Manager

AirHub
Netherlands · Full-time · Mid-Senior

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our product and act as the central link between business, customers, and engineering at AirHub.

Our mission

Do you want to use your product skills to save lives? At Airhub, you actually can.

First responders save lives every day, but they often lack the right technology to do it as effectively as possible. When someone goes missing at sea, when wildfires spread rapidly, or when emergencies unfold — every second counts. At Airhub, we believe that cutting-edge drone technology can be the difference between life and death.

We are a pioneering Dutch software company on a mission to empower first responders with advanced drone solutions, enhancing their ability to protect lives and ensure public safety.

Our Drone Operations Center enables seamless mission planning, real-time flight control, live video streaming, and AI-powered object detection, all while ensuring full aviation compliance.

If you’re passionate about building technology that truly makes a difference, Airhub is the place for you.

Our Product

At the heart of our platform is the Drone Operations Center — a web-based interface where users plan and manage missions, control active flights, view real-time video streams, and share those streams with multiple stakeholders such as emergency teams on the ground. From planning and execution through to logging, all in one place.

Key capabilities include remote drone fleet control, live video streaming, AI-powered object detection, and support for fully autonomous flights. Alongside the web platform, we also have an Android app designed to run on drone remote controllers, enabling pilots to control flights and stream data directly in real time.

Building on this foundation, we are expanding into two powerful new verticals: MilHub, purpose-built for defence-related operational environments, and SecHub, designed for broader security operations with a strong counter-drone proposition for organisations that need to detect, manage, and respond to drone-related threats.

As Senior Product Owner, you will own all three products — their direction, their roadmaps, and their continued evolution.

Our team

Currently Airhub counts 20 employees of which 10 are part of the dev team. It’s a remote first start-up environment with a tight-knit group of engineers who care deeply about the impact of our work. Aside from the interesting technical challenges and the positive impact on society, the domain that we work in is a lot of fun. We actually have team outings where we take big ass drones with camera gimbals on them with us and fly missions with them!

You will work closely with our engineering team and commercial stakeholders across a cross-functional setup. We're looking for someone with strong convictions and the judgment to back them up, someone who can challenge assumptions, drive alignment, and make things happen in a fast-moving environment.

You will:

  • Own the full product lifecycle across three products, from ideation and discovery through to product-market fit and scaling, making high-quality decisions at every stage.
  • Define and maintain a compelling product strategy that balances near-term commercial priorities with long-term platform ambitions, and communicate it clearly across the organisation.
  • Lead deep customer discovery, go beyond surface-level feedback to uncover real pain points, latent needs, and emerging opportunities that shape where the product needs to go.
  • Build and own a roadmap that is ruthlessly prioritised, clearly reasoned, and tied to measurable outcomes, not just a list of features.
  • Drive product-led thinking across the organisation, influencing how engineering, sales, and leadership approach product decisions and customer value.
  • Shape the product marketing narrative, own positioning, messaging, and packaging as the product evolves, and work closely with commercial teams to bring it to market effectively.
  • Set the standard for how products are done at Airhub, establishing frameworks, processes, and a product culture that scales with the team.
  • Work in close partnership with the Engineering to navigate technical trade-offs, challenge constraints, and ensure quality of execution matches quality of vision.

What will make me successful in this role:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 of those years owning a single B2B SaaS product end-to-end, from zero to traction, or from early adoption through to meaningful scale.
  • You have been genuinely pivotal in a product's success. You can speak concretely about how your decisions shaped outcomes, growth, retention, adoption, revenue, not just shipped features.
  • A sharp product strategist, you think in systems, spot opportunities others miss, and can articulate a clear product direction that earns buy-in from engineering, sales, and leadership alike.
  • Deeply customer-obsessed, you know how to run discovery properly, ask the questions beneath the questions, and translate ambiguous customer signals into clear product direction.
  • A prioritisation machine, you make hard calls with confidence, sequence work deliberately, and can defend your reasoning to any stakeholder without wavering under pressure.
  • Technically fluent, you don't need to write code, but you think clearly about architecture, system constraints, and trade-offs, and engineering teams respect your ability to engage at that level.
  • A natural at stakeholder management, you align people with competing agendas, navigate difficult conversations without flinching, and know when to push back and when to move forward.
  • Self-directed and ownership-driven, you don't wait for a brief. You identify what needs to happen, build the case, and make it happen.

What you’ll love about this role:

  • Real impact — your product decisions directly shape tools used in life-or-death situations.
  • True ownership — you're not managing a feature; you're owning a product that matters.
  • Strategic seat — you'll work at the intersection of business, engineering, and customer reality, with direct access to leadership.
  • First Product hire — as our first Product role in the organisation and you’ll be able to leave your mark.
  • Flexible working — work fully remote, or join us at our Groningen or Den Haag offices whenever you like. You choose what works best for you.
  • Flat, informal culture with team outings, Thursday drinks, and yes, drone flights in the field.

Ready to save lives through code?

Join us in building the future of emergency response technology. At Airhub, your engineering skills become a superpower for heroes on the front lines.
