Your Role

As a UX/UI Design Expert at Nostrion, you shape the user experience of a sovereign AI platform used by organizations with complex workflows, sensitive data, and high expectations around control and reliability.

You translate technical AI capabilities into clear, intuitive, and trustworthy product experiences. You work on user journeys, interaction flows, interface patterns, design systems, service concepts, and product documentation that help users understand, configure, monitor, and trust AI-powered workflows.

You focus on making complex systems accessible without oversimplifying them. You design interfaces where users can review AI outputs, understand system behavior, manage exceptions, configure workflows, and make informed decisions. You help move AI beyond demos and prototypes into real, usable, enterprise-ready products.

You also contribute to product discovery, usability testing, customer journey mapping, and design validation. Your work helps ensure that the platform is not only technically strong, but also understandable, adoptable, and valuable for business users, technical teams, and compliance stakeholders.

What Do You Bring?

You have strong experience in UX, UI, interaction design, and product design for web-based or enterprise software products. You understand how to design for complex workflows, professional users, and business-critical environments.

You bring a user-first mindset, strong product thinking, and the ability to connect user needs with business goals and technical possibilities. You are comfortable working across discovery, design strategy, prototyping, usability testing, documentation, and implementation support.

You understand that successful AI products require more than a chat interface. You know how to design controls, review flows, insight panels, configuration screens, feedback mechanisms, and human-in-the-loop experiences that help users stay in control.

Experience with AI products, automation platforms, service design, design systems, UX research, product democratization, compliance-heavy environments, or collaboration with QA and engineering teams is a strong plus.

You care about clarity, consistency, accessibility, and the balance between flexibility and control. You are able to zoom out to the full customer journey while also paying attention to the details that make a product feel reliable and professional.

Your Team

You work closely with Product, Platform Engineers, AI Engineers, and customer-facing teams to translate complex product needs into clear and reusable user experiences.

You help bridge the gap between technical capabilities and real user adoption. You collaborate with engineering to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and implementation-friendly, and you work with product leadership to shape the platform experience over time.

As part of the Nostrion team, you play a key role in making sovereign AI understandable, usable, and trusted by the organizations that need it most.

This is a Dutch-speaking role. Candidates must be able to communicate fluently in Dutch, both verbally and in writing, as the role involves close collaboration with Dutch-speaking customers, users, and stakeholders.

English is also important, as the team works in an international technology environment and uses English for internal collaboration, product discussions, technical documentation, and cross-functional communication.
