🚀 BI / Data Analyst (Public Sector | Power BI & Data Insights)

📍 Amersfoort, Netherlands | Hybrid (50% onsite after onboarding)

💡 The Role

Work across the Energy Transition programme and a central data team, turning complex public sector data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

You’ll bridge business needs and data delivery — from requirements gathering to dashboard design and Power BI development.

🔍 What You’ll Do

• Gather and translate business requirements into dashboard concepts and mockups
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
• Validate solutions with stakeholders before full development
• Collaborate with BI analysts, data engineers, and data stewards
• Support data-driven decision-making across multiple municipal domains

✅ What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years experience with Power BI (building & maintaining dashboards)
• Strong experience translating business needs into functional requirements
• 1+ year experience with SQL
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement ability
• Fluent Dutch (required)
• HBO-level education

Nice to have:

• Experience with wireframes/mockups (Figma, Adobe XD)
• Knowledge of Agile environments
• Interest in sustainability / energy transition
