Back End Developer

We are looking for a Backend Developer with 3+ years of experience to join an enterprise technology environment.

Work setup: Hybrid - Lisbon

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and application components.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and backend integrations with internal or external systems.
• Contribute to database design, queries, and data consistency across services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing activities, debugging, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, QA, and other technical stakeholders.
• Support deployment activities and contribute to the stability of production applications.
• Participate in technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Must-have requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
• Strong experience with backend development (Java, Python, C#, Node.js) and API design.
• Good knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases.
• Experience with version control systems, ideally Git.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, and clean code principles.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
