We are seeking an experienced Information Security Lead to oversee and implement security measures for a growing organization. This role involves ensuring the alignment of the company’s security program with internal standards, policies, and roadmaps. You will work closely with both local and international teams to maintain security best practices and respond to any security incidents.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Contribute to, implement, and enforce the organization's information security program, aligned with the company's internal roadmap, standards, and policies.
  • Collaborate with global security teams to provide updates on ongoing initiatives, gather feedback, and address local security issues.
  • Partner with IT teams and other business units to maintain cooperative relationships for security implementation.
  • Organize and participate in internal security audits.
  • Respond to security incidents and manage breaches at a local level.
  • Conduct risk assessments in line with the company's technology and risk programs.
  • Stay informed on emerging security threats and evolving technologies.
  • Develop recommendations for improving IT system security and implement preventive actions.
  • Review and provide feedback on security clauses within contracts and agreements.


Key Competencies:


  • Strong understanding of IT systems, security protocols, and the ability to align security with business objectives.
  • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional security projects and making decisions based on risk management principles.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, information systems, and application security.
  • Ability to work with multiple business functions to drive the adoption of new security approaches and technologies.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as required by global projects.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, incident management, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Eagerness to participate in large-scale, international security initiatives.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of security policies, standards, and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27001/2, and PCI DSS.
  • Solid project management skills and experience in managing complex security initiatives.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
  • Technical expertise in security technologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience managing security risks within an organization.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
