Senior Mobile Developer (m/f) – Braga

Our client is a leading company in the technology sector in the Braga area. As a result of its growth, it is looking to strengthen its team with a Senior Mobile Developer.

The Role

An experienced and strategic Senior Mobile Developer is sought to lead the mobile development function, overseeing the vision, strategy, and execution of mobile apps and SDKs across native (iOS/Android) and cross-platform frameworks.

This role involves building, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing engineering team while ensuring technical excellence and alignment with business goals. It combines hands-on expertise with strategic thinking, requiring someone capable of defining best practices, driving architectural decisions, and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of mobile software engineering experience (iOS and/or Android)

• Deep expertise in native mobile development (Swift/Kotlin)

• Strong experience with cross-platform frameworks (mainly Flutter, but also React Native and Cordova)

• Proven track record of shipping successful mobile applications and SDKs at scale

• Experience building and maintaining mobile APIs and developer SDKs

• Expert-level knowledge of mobile architecture patterns and best practices

• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and performance optimization

• Proficiency in CI/CD, testing frameworks, and mobile DevOps

• Deep knowledge of mobile security, accessibility standards, and compliance requirements

• Experience with API design and backend integration

• Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities

• Knowledge of wearable device technology stack is a plus
