UX/UI Designer

At WiZink Bank Portugal, we are seeking a UX/UI Designer (Web & App).

Role Mission

The UX/UI Designer is responsible for designing user‑centered, visually consistent, and accessible digital experiences for web and mobile applications. The role focuses on creating intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable products by combining strong UX practices, UI design, branding consistency, and accessibility standards, while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design UX/UI solutions for web and app platforms, creating new pages and reusable components aligned with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Design digital products (websites and applications) that are user‑friendly, efficient, and enjoyable.
• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Define user journeys, user flows, and information architecture.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and interaction patterns.
• Conduct usability testing, analyze results, and iterate designs based on user feedback and data insights.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, UI Designers, and Engineers to improve overall interaction and user experience.
• Ensure designs meet branding, accessibility (WCAG), and usability best practices.
• Continuously refine and optimize designs throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in UX/UI Design for web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of user‑centered design principles, usability, and interaction design.
• Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar).
• Solid knowledge of branding and accessibility standards in digital design.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional, product‑driven teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to clearly present design decisions.
