Network Engineer Expert

We would like to meet a Network Engineer Expert for a project in Lisbon.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the definition, integration, and implementation of network architecture solutions based on standard technologies such as Cisco ACI and VMware NSX-T.
• Support the deployment and transformation of Data Center network infrastructures.
• Contribute to the definition and improvement of the Network Operating Model.
• Manage and support enterprise Data Center environments.
• Ensure the operation, optimization, and troubleshooting of Network Security solutions, including SASE and segmentation technologies.
• Work with LAN, WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and Voice infrastructures.
• Develop and maintain Network Automation solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and retro-documentation of existing infrastructures.
• Analyze and combine business and technical requirements from multiple stakeholders.
• Provide support for P1/P2 incidents and lead problem management activities for Data Center environments.
• Participate in large-scale architecture, standardization, and infrastructure transformation initiatives within international and matrix organizations.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• More than 8 years of experience in Network Engineering within international and matrix organizations.
• Strong expertise in Cisco ACI and VMware NSX-T.
• Proven experience managing enterprise Data Center infrastructures.
• Solid knowledge of Network Security technologies, including SASE and network segmentation.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, LAN, WAN, MPLS, Wi-Fi, Voice, and Identity Services.
• Strong experience with Network Automation tools and scripting – Terraform, Ansible and/or Python
• Experience in network architecture, deployment, and integration projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience handling P1/P2 incidents and problem management processes.
• Fluent in English (mandatory)
