Senior Data Scientist

For one of our main banking clients based in Amsterdam, we are looking for an experienced Business Architect. In this role you will be involved with transforming 1 billon rows of data towards actionable insights within a division to counter financial crime.

| Responsibilities |

Take ownership of significant aspects of the data and infrastructure for our TM solution, including creating robust infrastructure designs, writing high-quality code, and mentoring medior and junior team members to adopt best practices and maintain consistent workflows across the team.

Drive alignment with related domains (IT, Architecture, Data Science) to ensure the optimal performance of our data science models.

Serve as a primary point of contact and strategic partner for senior management.

| Requirements |

• Academic degree (MSc / Phd) in Computer Science, Data Science, Econometrics or another STEM field.
• 5+ years’ experience in software development / data engineering / advanced analytics / Machine Learning (ideally with large data sets) working with Python and PySpark (Azure Databricks experience is a plus).
