iOS Developer

Project overview

We are looking for an iOS Developer to join our team in Randstad Digital Romania in a dynamic mobile team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of high-quality mobile applications for Apple devices.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend engineers, and product managers, to define, design, and ship new features. If you are passionate about mobile platforms and translating code into user-friendly apps, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced, scalable, and robust applications for the iOS platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Work with external data sources and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, and fix bugs to improve application stability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in iOS development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift (Objective-C knowledge is a plus).
• Solid understanding of the iOS SDK and frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, and Core Animation.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/frameworks.
• Deep understanding of architectural patterns like MVVM, MVC, or VIPER.
• Familiarity with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (specifically Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Solid proficiency in English (speaking & writing).

Nice to have

• Experience with Reactive Programming (Combine or RxSwift).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile (e.g., Fastlane, Jenkins, Bitrise).
• A portfolio of iOS apps already published in the App Store.
