The Opportunity

Our client is in the middle of an aggressive global growth phase, building out new markets, services and delivery models across logistics and digital supply chain. The senior team have been candid: without a top tier Global Project Manager to orchestrate complex programmes, align two fast‑scaling businesses and protect key customer relationships, this next phase will stall. This is a newly elevated, board‑visible role, reporting directly to the CEO. The successful hire will take full ownership of the global project portfolio, impose structure where there is currently friction, and turn high value commercial opportunities into repeatable, scalable delivery.

The Impact You Will Have

• Own and shape the global project portfolio so strategic deals and implementations land on time, on budget and to enterprise‑grade standards.

• Lead, coach and raise the bar for regional and functional Project Managers, setting a consistent way of working across countries and business units.

• Act as the senior counterpart for key customers, translating complex logistics and 4PL solutions into clear plans, decisions and accountability.

• Protect and grow revenue by keeping large, multi‑stakeholder programmes on track across operations, sales, tech, procurement and finance.

• Design and embed the project governance, tooling and metrics that will underpin the company’s next wave of international expansion.

What Success Looks Like

• Proven track record running multi‑million, multi‑country project portfolios in logistics, 4PL or digital freight, not just single workstreams.

• Comfortable reporting to and challenging C‑level leaders while still rolling up sleeves to unblock detail.

• Hands‑on leader who has already managed and developed Project Managers, not just coordinated them.

• Confident navigating RFIs/RFQs, contracts and commercial trade offs in a fast moving, founder led environment.

• Prepared for a demanding, high output role in Zurich, with a global stakeholder set and limited appetite for “steady state” careers.
