Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain embedded software platforms targeting real‑time and high‑integrity automotive ECUs.
• You will work close to hardware, operating systems, and middleware, contributing to in‑house base software stacks that prioritize performance, flexibility, safety, and long‑term platform ownership.
• Defining, steering, and evolving the long‑term build system strategy for embedded and platform software development.
• The role focuses on CI build concept, architectural coherence, and organizational alignment for build and CI foundations used across in‑house and supplier‑delivered software stacks.
• This role operates at the intersection of architecture, developer productivity, and platform governance, ensuring that build systems (e.g., CMake, Bazel) support scalability, reproducibility, safety, and long‑term maintainability across programs and ECU domains.

Experience / Background

• Strong embedded systems expertise
• Hands‑on programming skills
• Ability to reason about real‑time behavior and system‑level trade‑offs, rather than configuration‑driven development.
