Experienced Embedded Software Developer, level 4

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining embedded software solutions for advanced, safety-critical systems. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable, and secure software using requirement-based development processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software for various platforms and architectures, with a focus on safety-critical systems
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with DO-178 standards
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components
• Participate in requirement analysis and traceability
• Perform software testing and debugging
• Contribute to development processes
• Work in an agile environment
• Stay up-to-date with relevant technologies
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Embedded Software Developer
• Strong programming skills in C and Python
• Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and RTOS
• Familiarity with DO-178 and requirement-based development
• Experience with version control (Git or similar)
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with safety-critical software
• Knowledge of security practices
• Familiarity with HDL (VHDL/Verilog)
• Experience with embedded Linux
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink

The assignment may be subject to security clearance, requiring Swedish citizenship and approval by relevant authority.
