DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join a dynamic CloudOps team. You will work closely with Cloud Architects, Security Engineers, and Developers to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.

This role focuses on enabling efficient software delivery through automation, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines, while ensuring reliability, performance, and security of the cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation and reliability of cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with developers to streamline build, deployment, and production processes
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Automate development, testing, deployment, and monitoring processes
• Build and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and resolve infrastructure defects
• Continuously improve deployment and operational workflows
• Take end-to-end ownership of solutions, ensuring quality and maintainability
• Contribute to long-term platform improvements and strategic initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–10+ years of experience in IT, including 4+ years in DevOps roles
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS
• Solid experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Proven expertise in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Strong experience with Linux-based systems
• Excellent scripting skills (Python and/or Shell)
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS serverless services
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
• Basic knowledge of databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
• Experience with open-source DevOps tools and cloud services
• Relevant certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.)
• Degree in IT or related field
