Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on AI backend engineer who can design, build and operate production-grade systems around LLMs, AI agents and enterprise data. You will work across cloud infrastructure, data layers and agent logic to deliver reliable, scalable AI capabilities for real-world business use cases.

What you will do:

• Build and maintain production-grade backend services using Python or TypeScript.
• Design, containerize and deploy services on AWS using Docker, ECS Fargate, S3, RDS and Cognito.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and own CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Design and operate LLM- and agent-based systems, including how AI agents interact with tools, APIs and enterprise data sources.
• Implement and optimize RAG pipelines, vector search and SQL-based enterprise data querying.
• Focus on accuracy, performance, cost and reliability when designing and running AI agents in production.
• Work comfortably across the stack – from cloud infrastructure and data layers to agent logic, orchestration and workflows.

Nice to have:

• Experience with agent prompt engineering and governance-focused AI development (guardrails, policies, evaluation).
• Background integrating enterprise systems (ERP, finance platforms, identity/SSO).
• Exposure to analytics, query federation or finance domain use cases.
• Awareness of AI governance, compliance and observability for production AI systems.
