Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and AWS to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a key role in automating data workflows, optimizing cloud environments, and supporting data platform operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data and application deployments
• Develop and optimize Snowflake environments, including performance tuning and cost optimization
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security across cloud platforms
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and development teams to support data pipelines and workflows
• Ensure best practices in cloud governance, security, and compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and data platform issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM)
• Hands-on expertise with Snowflake (administration, performance tuning, data pipelines)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus)
• Understanding of data engineering concepts and ETL/ELT processes
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in Agile environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards in cloud environments
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments
• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
