Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced AI Platform Engineer to design the architecture, deliver deployments, and strengthen the reliability of the platform. In this role, you will take ownership of manifests, CI/CD pipelines, build images, and key architectural decisions, connecting cloud infrastructure with the services running on top. This is a high-impact position with real influence over technology choices and platform direction.

Core Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience (more is a strong plus)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred or similar tools)
• Hands-on experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes workloads
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions or similar)
• Strong production experience with Kubernetes, including:
• Deployments, Services, HPA, RBAC
• ConfigMaps and Secrets
• CRDs and Network Policies
• Internal certificate management
• Kubernetes operators
• Solid debugging and operational skills using kubectl, events, and logs
• Experience with at least one additional orchestrator beyond Kubernetes:
• AWS ECS, Google Cloud Run, Azure Container Apps / AKS, or similar
• Understanding of data management fundamentals and data model design for scalable systems
• Software development experience (at least Python)
• Experience with observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar)

Role Responsibilities:

• Design and evolve the AI platform architecture
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Create and manage Kubernetes manifests and container images
• Integrate cloud services with platform applications
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and security
• Monitor and optimize system performance using observability tools
• Collaborate with engineering and AI/data teams to deliver robust environments

Nice to Have:

• Experience with multi-tenancy architectures
• Knowledge of network isolation and service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio)
• Understanding of supply chain security principles
• Experience with KubeVela and/or Crossplane
• Deep cloud experience in at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure, including:
• IAM and networking (VPC, peering, private endpoints)
• KMS
• Managed PostgreSQL
• Container registries
