Project Design Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Design Manager (fixed-term) to join our international construction project based in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Job Description

• Manage all design coordination processes within the design package scope
• Coordinate the design process of standing seam roofing, BEMO systems, rainscreen façades, bullnose, soffit, fascia, drainage (gutter) systems, and safety line systems
• Ensure the design firm complies with the RFP requirements and review all technical deliverables
• Review parametric models, fabrication drawings, installation drawings, and production packages
• Track deliverables in Rhino/Grasshopper, DWG, DXF, 3DM, STEP, and IFC formats
• Technically review BOMs, CNC laser cutting files, and bending outputs
• Evaluate design for constructability, installation efficiency, and site applicability
• Coordinate between all stakeholders (client, design firm, manufacturer, and site teams)
• Manage design programme, revisions, RFIs, and weekly reporting
• Identify and report risks, delays, and quality issues in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
• Experience in roofing, façade, and building envelope systems
• Proven experience in freeform / complex geometry project coordination
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC, laser cutting, press brake bending, etc.)
• Experience in fast-track construction / design-and-build projects
• Ability to communicate in technical English (written and spoken)
