Your Role

As IT Project Manager Finance you are responsible for initiating, running, and concluding projects to introduce, transform or decommission IT solutions that serve processes in accounting, finance and controlling. This may include the introduction of new applications or the evolution of these applications and their underlying infrastructure.

In your role, you establish and control project plans and milestone plans as well as the projects’ budgets. Based on your sound command of different project management methodologies, you coordinate the work of internal and external IT experts in the most efficient way. Supported by your excellent communication skills, you are securing constant alignment with stakeholders such as business process owners, IT business partners and procurement personnel among others. Furthermore, your experience in and understanding of functional processes in finance and accounting enables you to give valuable advice to users ands stakeholders.

Who You Are

• You have 10+ yeares of experience, managing and successfully concluding projects of varying sizes
• You have gained experience in different project management methodologies with formal certifications (PMP, PRINCE2 etc.)
• Experience in accounting, controlling, and reporting. Formal certifications (e.g., CPA, CIMA etc.) are a plus.
• You have experience in with ERP and BI tools commonly used in finance, accounting, and reporting.
• Working self-dependently is normal for you and you thrive in environments that provide you with room to make your own decisions.
• You are result-driven and solution – orientated.
• You are a good team player and are comfortable with leading small teams.
• You are experienced in working remotely and in virtual environments.
• You are willing to travel up to 15-20 % of your time depending on project phase (mainly to Germany)
• You are proficient in English, additional knowledge of other languages (German, Spanish etc.) is a plus.
