About the Project


Our client is looking for a Product Analyst with a passion for both the maritime world and data, to join the Product Group. You’ll be joining the product team leading the core platform, which provides our client's customers with an accurate, real-time picture of maritime activity.As a Product Analyst, you’ll support product managers and researchers in making critical decisions and lead the product to commercial success.This is an ideal opportunity to enter the analytics and product management worlds, and will be excellent for someone who enjoys working with structured data, finds satisfaction in ensuring accuracy, and is comfortable with repetitive tasks that require precision.


Required skills:


● B.A. in information systems, statistics, economics, or a related field

● Proficient in Excel

● Experience in analyzing data and coding in Python

● Fast learner with strong critical thinking and attention to detail

● Experience working with databases and coding with Claude Code - an advantage

● Previous experience working in a data-oriented tech company - an advantage

● Immediate availability


Scope of work:


● Become a domain expert in the maritime industry and Windward’s data structures

● Validate, adjust, and update data using internal tools, ensuring accuracy and consistency

● Analyze data to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement

● Conduct analysis using Windward proprietary data and open data sources

● Work with analysis and visualization tools like Jupyter notebooks and Streamlit

● Support strategic decision making
