Research and Analysis Manager
We are currently seeking a Research and Analysis Manager for one of the leading multinational insurance companies in the market
The Research and Analysis Manager will play a pivotal role in providing actionable insights to drive data-informed decision-making across the company. This role is responsible for leading market research initiatives, analyzing consumer behavior, and leveraging data to enhance product offerings, customer experiences, and marketing strategies in the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical expertise, deep knowledge of market research methodologies, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, emerging risks, and opportunities within the insurance sector.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market positioning to provide benchmarking insights.
- Analyze macroeconomic factors, regulatory changes, and technological advancements impacting the insurance market.
- Design and execute primary research (surveys, focus groups, interviews) to gather insights into customer preferences, needs, and pain points.
- Develop and maintain customer segmentation models based on demographics, behavior, and psychographics to inform targeted marketing strategies.
- Evaluate customer satisfaction and loyalty through Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and other metrics.
- Collaborate with external research agencies and vendors to conduct specialized studies or complex data analysis.
- Manage research budgets, ensuring high-quality deliverables within established timelines.
- Oversee the collection, integration, and management of internal and external data sources to create a comprehensive view of market and consumer dynamics.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all research and analytical outputs.
- Utilize statistical tools, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities in consumer and market data.
- Perform scenario analysis, forecasting, and modeling to predict customer behavior and market trends.
- Create dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate insights clearly and effectively to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations at executive meetings, aligning insights with strategic priorities.
- Provide insights to product teams to develop new insurance offerings or refine existing products to meet consumer needs.
- Assess the performance of product lines and recommend changes to improve competitiveness and profitability.
- Support marketing teams by identifying target audiences, optimizing campaign strategies, and measuring marketing effectiveness.
- Conduct post-campaign analysis to evaluate ROI and refine future efforts.
- Identify drivers of customer satisfaction and loyalty, recommending strategies to improve retention and reduce churn.
- Act as a key liaison between data science teams and business units to translate technical findings into actionable business strategies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Advanced degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or Marketing Research is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or data analytics, preferably within the insurance, financial services, consumer goods industries.
- Proven track record of leading successful market and consumer research initiatives and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Experience with advanced analytical tools, statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS), and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods, data modeling, and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, customer journey mapping, and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear insights.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally
- Highly organized with an aptitude for prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- A proactive, adaptable, hands-on mindset, well-suited to a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment.
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
