Product Owner - Onboarding

Join a leading digital-first banking organization in Abu Dhabi undergoing a large-scale transformation across its customer onboarding and digital experience platforms.

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner – Digital Onboarding to drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of customer onboarding journeys, including account opening, KYC, and lifecycle management.

This role is ideal for a product professional with strong experience in digital banking environments, who can balance customer experience, regulatory requirements, and business outcomes.

This is a 6-month contract role (extendable) with full onsite presence in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog for digital onboarding journeys (KYC, account opening, customer lifecycle)
• Define product vision and roadmap aligned with business and regulatory requirements
• Translate business needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams in Agile (Scrum) environments
• Work with compliance, risk, and business stakeholders to ensure regulatory alignment
• Optimize onboarding flows to improve customer experience and conversion rates
• Manage dependencies across squads and ensure timely delivery
• Track product performance and continuously improve onboarding journeys.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong Product Owner / Product Manager experience within banking or financial services
• Proven experience owning digital onboarding / KYC / account opening journeys
• Hands-on Agile delivery experience (Jira, backlog management, sprint planning)
• Strong stakeholder management across business, compliance, and technology teams
• Experience delivering customer-centric digital banking products
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
