Investigation Specialist

Role: Investigation Specialist

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our Internal Audit team as an Investigations Specialist.

In this role, you will lead end-to-end investigations into fraud, misconduct, and operational irregularities, using advanced data analytics and forensic techniques to uncover insights and strengthen internal controls.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Identify fraud risks within business processes and assess control effectiveness, highlighting gaps such as weak segregation of duties and system control deficiencies.
• Conduct investigations into fraud, misconduct, and policy violations
• Analyze large datasets using tools like Excel, SQL, and Power BI
• Perform forensic analysis on system data and transactions
• Prepare structured investigation reports with clear findings
• Collaborate with cross functional team (Legal, HR, IT, Finance, Operations) to obtain and validate data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Support proactive fraud detection and compliance initiatives

Quality & Compliance Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with data confidentiality, privacy, and information security requirements.
• Adhere to investigation procedures in handling digital evidence.
• Maintain proper documentation to support regulatory and legal requirements.

Promote a culture of compliance, governance, and fraud prevention.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, IT, Accounting, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis / investigations / internal audit
• Strong knowledge of data analytics & fraud risk frameworks
• Certifications such as CFE or Data Analytics are a plus
• Fluency in English & Arabic
