Freelance Network Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced L2 Network Field Engineer to support enterprise and project-based deployments across multiple client sites. If you’re a hands-on troubleshooter who thrives in the field and enjoy solving real-world network challenges — this is for you.

• Providing Level 2 onsite network support (break/fix, troubleshooting, diagnostics)
• Installing, configuring & supporting routers, switches, firewalls & Wi-Fi solutions
• Supporting LAN/WAN environments across enterprise sites
• Performing rack & stack, patching, structured cabling & hardware swaps
• Assisting with network upgrades, migrations & refresh projects
• Working closely with remote NOC / L3 teams

• Proven experience in L2 Network Support / Field Engineering
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, routing & switching
• Experience with vendors such as Cisco, Juniper Networks, Fortinet, or Aruba Networks
• Comfortable working independently onsite
• Own toolkit & reliable transport (where required)
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA preferred)
