Job Description

  • Implement a network access control policy that includes details of accessible networks and devices, and a formal authorization process for granting network access.
  • Establish a practical procedure for activating or terminating any network connections at the entity.
  • Implement appropriate means of controlling network access in order to verify any equipment or devices connected to it.
  • Verify the identity of remote network connections.
  • Apply appropriate separation controls to all types of internal, external, wireless, and digital telephone networks in accordance with the approved protocols in this regard.
  • Apply appropriate security and operational controls to any connections to networks outside the control of the Public Prosecution.
  • Monitoring the performance of network lines and preparing designs to obtain the best performance and presenting preliminary designs to the head of the department.
  • Proposing the necessary plans for network lines and implementing them in accordance with the department's needs for systems and software.
  • Designing and developing precise specifications for the network in the main building and branches.
  • Configure and prepare the network for remote access requirements.
  • Monitor computer networks, hardware, and software to ensure availability and information security.
  • Monitor the network, its various devices and equipment, and the systems and programs used in it through approved monitoring and security systems.
  • Propose network points for the department to ensure the availability of electronic systems.
  • Update and develop operating systems for network devices.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical work reports.
  • Study offers submitted by external companies specializing in information systems.
  • Ensure the safety of devices and information security on an ongoing basis and put in place all precautions and alternative programs in case of any emergency.
  • Connecting iPhones and iPads to the wireless network.
  • Coordinating and communicating with service providers (Etisalat - Du).
  • Visiting Public Prosecution branches and police stations to provide technical support.
  • Make master copies of new devices and download all necessary software.
  • Update master copies periodically.
  • Contact maintenance companies
  • Update Windows and systems
  • Recover files from the device if possible after memory damage
