We are a fast-growing startup that prioritizes speed and impact in everything we do, and we’re looking for a dedicated Frontend Engineer to spearhead our EV Sales Hub efforts. This role is essential to our mission of enabling mass EV adoption by helping dealerships sell 1 million EVs in the next 5 years.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of EV sales. You will design and develop a cutting-edge EV Sales Hub web widget and more to be hosted on hundreds of dealership websites. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled developer passionate about creating scalable, user-friendly, and high-performance web applications that drive real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development: Design, develop, and maintain the Sales Hub web widget along with other new products using Preact, ensuring compatibility across a variety of dealership websites and platforms.
• Responsive Design: Build fully responsive, lightweight, and performant components to deliver seamless experiences across all devices and browsers.
• Collaboration with Designers: Work closely with the design team in Figma to translate mockups and prototypes into pixel-perfect UI/UX implementations.
• Integration & Deployment: Ensure the widget integrates seamlessly into dealership websites, addressing cross-domain challenges and ensuring robust functionality.
• Version Control: Leverage Git and GitHub for source code management, collaboration, pull requests and deployment.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize the widget for fast loading times, minimal resource usage, and a smooth user experience.
• Scalability & Maintenance: Develop with scalability in mind, ensuring that the widget can be easily maintained and updated as requirements evolve.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of the latest frontend technologies and trends to implement best practices and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

• Frontend Expertise: Proficiency in React and/or Preact, with a strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Design Collaboration: Experience working with design tools like Figma to convert designs into functional components.
• Web Development Best Practices: Knowledge of responsive design and SEO principles.
• Version Control: Strong experience with Git and collaborative workflows on GitHub.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to tackle complex frontend challenges independently and efficiently.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with TypeScript and modern build tools like Vite.
• Knowledge of widget integration techniques for diverse hosting platforms.
• Prior experience in the automotive or EV sector.
