Data Analyst

Our client, a well-established and highly respected member-based organization in the finance and accounting space, is seeking a Data Analytics Specialist to join their growing team in Toronto. With a strong national presence and a long-standing reputation for supporting professionals through education, research, and advocacy, this organization is continuing to invest in data and analytics to drive smarter decision-making and enhance member experience.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in transforming data into actionable insights across the business. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to support reporting, improve data quality, and contribute to system initiatives, while also helping to advance automation and analytics capabilities. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with both the technical and business sides of data.

Office Location: Toronto

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days in office (5 days in office during first week for onboarding)

Salary: $81,000–$105,000 + 10% bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support business insights and decision-making
• Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable outputs
• Support data migration, system implementations, and data integrity initiatives
• Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows using automation tools
• Contribute to data governance and documentation practices
• Leverage data visualization tools to communicate insights clearly and effectively

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization
• Exposure to automation tools such as Power Automate, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory
• Experience supporting system implementations or data migration projects
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally

Nice to Have

• Experience with CRM or AMS platforms such as iMIS or Salesforce
• Exposure to Azure, Snowflake, Fabric, or dbt
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools or analytics applications
• Experience working in an association, education, or member-based environment
