Our client, a well-established and highly respected member-based organization in the finance and accounting space, is seeking a Data Analytics Specialist to join their growing team in Toronto. With a strong national presence and a long-standing reputation for supporting professionals through education, research, and advocacy, this organization is continuing to invest in data and analytics to drive smarter decision-making and enhance member experience.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in transforming data into actionable insights across the business. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to support reporting, improve data quality, and contribute to system initiatives, while also helping to advance automation and analytics capabilities. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with both the technical and business sides of data.
Office Location: Toronto
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days in office (5 days in office during first week for onboarding)
Salary: $81,000–$105,000 + 10% bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support business insights and decision-making
- Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable outputs
- Support data migration, system implementations, and data integrity initiatives
- Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows using automation tools
- Contribute to data governance and documentation practices
- Leverage data visualization tools to communicate insights clearly and effectively
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization
- Exposure to automation tools such as Power Automate, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory
- Experience supporting system implementations or data migration projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Nice to Have
- Experience with CRM or AMS platforms such as iMIS or Salesforce
- Exposure to Azure, Snowflake, Fabric, or dbt
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools or analytics applications
- Experience working in an association, education, or member-based environment
