Role Overview:

Savills operates a hybrid IT delivery model, with governance, security, and infrastructure managed at the APAC regional level, and local IT operations and business support delivered from Singapore.

We are hiring a new IT Application Specialist to join our Singapore IT team. This role will focus on supporting, understanding, and enabling the effective use of Savills’ business applications, including internal platforms such as the Cubes and other enterprise systems used across the Singapore business.

This is a hands-on role that combines Level 2 application support, user training, and continuous knowledge building. You will work closely with end users, vendors, and regional/global IT teams to ensure our applications are stable, well-understood, and well-used.


Key responsibilities:

Application Support (Level 2)

  • Provide Level 2 functional and technical support for Savills applications used in Singapore.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues escalated from Level 1 support within agreed SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis and work with vendors or internal technology teams to resolve recurring issues.
  • Manage application incidents, service requests, and problem tickets using the ITSM system.

Application Knowledge & Ownership

  • Learn, understand, and document the functionality and workflows of Savills’ applications (e.g. Cubes and other business platforms).
  • Act as the local application subject matter expert (SME) for Singapore users.
  • Maintain up-to-date application documentation, user guides, FAQs, and support knowledge base articles.

User Training & Enablement

  • Conduct application training sessions (both classroom and virtual) for end users.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group coaching to help users adopt and use applications effectively.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify training needs and improve overall user experience.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Liaise with regional/global IT teams on enhancements, upgrades, and system changes.
  • Support application testing for new releases, patches, and enhancements.
  • Gather user feedback and recommend improvements to application functionality or support processes.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in application support, business system support, or a similar role.
