Chief Design Officer

We are seeking a visionary Chief Design Officer (CDO) to lead and embed design excellence, innovation, and user‑centric thinking across the organization. The CDO will define and execute an enterprise‑wide design strategy aligned with business objectives, driving differentiation, value creation, and long‑term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall design vision, strategy, and governance across brand, UX/UI, service, and architectural/engineering design.
• Act as a core member of the executive leadership team, influencing enterprise‑wide strategic decisions.
• Champion human‑centered design, innovation, and best‑practice standards at Executive and Board levels.
• Build, lead, and develop high‑performing, multidisciplinary design teams across functions and geographies.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Legal teams to integrate design into digital transformation and business initiatives.
• Oversee budgets, QA/QC, HSE, value engineering, and manage external consultants and design partners.

Requirements:

• 20+ years of experience, including 15+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Strong background in architectural, engineering, or large‑scale design environments.
• Proven executive presence, strategic mindset, and business acumen.
• SAP / ERP knowledge preferred.
• GCC experience is an advantage.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering and a master’s degree in architecture or engineering.
