Role Purpose:
Define and oversee overall ICT governance practice including process & requirements engineering for sport venues & events business domains including driving the tournament operations planning activities for events ensuring event support readiness is in place across all ICT domains.
Key Responsibilities
ICT Governance & Framework Development
- Define, establish, and continuously improve the ICT governance framework, policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with organizational strategies and best practices.
- Ensure ICT governance models support sport venues, tournaments, and large‑scale event operations.
- Oversee compliance with internal governance policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Business & Requirements Engineering
- Lead end‑to‑end requirements engineering activities, including business requirements, functional and non‑functional requirements, and operational readiness requirements.
- Engage with business stakeholders, venue operators, event teams, and technical domains to elicit, analyze, validate, and document requirements.
- Ensure traceability of requirements from business objectives through solution design, delivery, and operational support.
Event & Tournament Operations Planning
- Drive ICT tournament and event operations planning activities to ensure event support readiness across all ICT domains.
- Coordinate with ICT infrastructure, applications, networks, cybersecurity, service management, and vendor teams to ensure integrated readiness.
- Support planning for critical milestones such as rehearsals, test events, go‑live readiness, and post‑event transition activities.
Stakeholder & Domain Coordination
- Act as a key interface between business units, ICT teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Facilitate governance forums, design reviews, and decision‑making bodies to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues.
- Provide clear communication, reporting, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership.
Assurance, Risk & Continuous Improvement
- Identify ICT risks, dependencies, and gaps impacting venues and event operations, and recommend mitigation actions.
- Support ICT assurance activities, including readiness assessments, audits, and lessons‑learned exercises.
- Promote continuous improvement by capturing post‑event insights and embedding them into governance and operational processes.
- Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Information Technology, or Bachelor of Computer Science
- OR
- Any Bachelor’s Degree with relevant ICT experience
Required Experience
- More than 8 years of experience in a similar role, with strong exposure to ICT governance, business analysis, or enterprise ICT environments
- Proven experience supporting complex, large‑scale operations such as sport venues, major events, tournaments, or mission‑critical environments
- Experience working at a senior engineer or architect level, interacting with executive and senior stakeholders
