Role Overview

We are looking for an Engineering Manager – DevOps (AWS) to lead our platform and infrastructure teams. You will drive cloud architecture, automation, reliability, and scalability, while managing a high-performing DevOps team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps / Platform Engineers
• Design and scale AWS-based infrastructure (EC2, EKS, Lambda, VPC, S3, API Gateway)
• Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and release processes
• Manage and scale Kubernetes environments (EKS preferred)
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus)
• Own incident management, RCA, and system reliability improvements
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment velocity and efficiency
• Drive security best practices and cloud cost optimization

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in DevOps / SRE / Cloud Engineering
• 2+ years in team management / leadership roles
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS ecosystem
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
• Strong experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
• Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems

Good to Have

• Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures
• Exposure to high-scale consumer / gaming platforms
• Experience with cloud security and compliance practices
• Background in SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets)
