About The Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our client’s dynamic team based in Nottingham. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring a 35-hour workweek that balances flexibility with productivity. As a Front-End Developer, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing high-quality, user-centric web applications that are used at scale. This is a hands-on position where your expertise will directly impact the development of real features, ensuring the delivery of robust, accessible, and visually appealing interfaces. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, prioritizing clean UI, performance, and maintainability over quick fixes or shortcuts.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in front-end development principles and practices. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Blazor is essential, along with proficiency in HTML and CSS. A good understanding of accessibility standards, particularly WCAG, is required to ensure inclusive design. Familiarity with REST APIs, version control systems like Git, and development tools such as Azure DevOps will be advantageous, though a solid grasp of core concepts is more important. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to debug effectively, think critically, and work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
