Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer / Data Modeller to embed within a client's analytics engineering team. This is a hands-on role focused on designing and implementing scalable data models using dbt, while collaborating closely with both business stakeholders and engineering teams.

You will play a key role in translating business KPIs into well-structured, reusable data models, ensuring consistency across shared domains and avoiding fragmented or product-specific solutions that can lead to technical debt. You will also support the resolution of data ambiguities and contribute to building robust, production-ready data assets.

Key Requirements
* Strong experience as an Analytics Engineer or Data Modeller in modern data environments
* Proven hands-on expertise with dbt (data build tool)
* Deep understanding of data modelling concepts, including fact/dimension design and dimensional modelling best practices
* Strong SQL skills and experience building data transformation pipelines
* Ability to translate complex business metrics into scalable, production-grade data models
* Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have
* Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift or similar)
* Exposure to data governance and best practices to prevent technical debt
* Experience mentoring or supporting team members
* Knowledge of additional data tools or programming languages
