Full Stack Engineer

Full Stack Engineer (Node.js / TypeScript / AWS) – 12 Month Contract

Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid)

Contract: 12 Months

The Opportunity Join an established software company working on a complex, high-impact program as part of a small, high-performing team of senior engineers. This is an opportunity to contribute to an Australia-first consolidation initiative, building modern, scalable systems in a fast-paced, start-up-style environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver scalable full stack solutions across multiple projects
• Develop backend services using Node.js, AWS, and serverless technologies
• Build and maintain frontend/mobile applications using Flutter integrated with AWS services
• Work across cloud-native architectures, including event-driven and serverless systems
• Collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders in a cross-functional team
• Contribute to new builds, enhancements, and ongoing project delivery

Tech Stack Backend:

• Node.js, TypeScript
• AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions)
• Serverless architecture

Frontend:

• Flutter
• AWS-integrated front-end services (API Gateway, authentication, etc.)

About You

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer in fast-paced, multi-project environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS
• Solid experience with DynamoDB, Step Functions, and serverless frameworks
• Exposure to Flutter or modern front-end/mobile frameworks
• Ability to work autonomously in a start-up-style environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and communication
