How does joining a core player in Australia’s financial sector sound? You’ll be working on high-impact digital products, with real ownership and scope to push modern engineering practices.

We’re partnering with a well-established financial services business building out its Digital team. They’re investing heavily in modern platforms and are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer (Java + Angular) to help drive that forward.

You’ll work across both backend and frontend, contributing to the design and delivery of customer-facing products, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams.

The Role & Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership across backend (Java) and frontend (Angular) development
• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable, low-latency applications
• Contribute to both monolithic and microservices-based architectures
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver new features and enhancements
• Drive best practices across code quality, testing, and performance

Your Experience

• 6+ years’ experience across fullstack development
• Strong backend expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate
• Solid frontend experience with Angular
• Experience delivering products from inception through to production
• Exposure to financial services or regulated environments is beneficial
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
