The successful candidate will act as a trusted gatekeeper and operational hub for the principal's professional and personal life, coordinating seamlessly with household staff, security teams, advisors, philanthropic partners and external suppliers. The role requires absolute discretion, exceptional organisation, sound judgement under pressure and the flexibility to travel extensively at short notice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diary, Travel and Communications
- Event Planning
- Philanthropic Activity
- Security Detail Coordination
- Visa and Immigration Management
- Property Management
- Office, Finance and Administration
Candidate Profile
This is a senior appointment that demands a candidate with a substantial track record of supporting ultra-high-net-worth principals or comparable senior figures. The right person will be unflappable, intuitive and exceptionally meticulous, with the gravitas to operate at the highest levels and the humility to handle the smallest of details.
Essential Experience and Skills
- A minimum of 8–10 years' experience as a Personal Assistant within a family office, UHNW private household, royal household or similarly demanding environment.
- Demonstrable experience across event planning, philanthropy, security coordination, visa and immigration management and property oversight.
- Fluent English plus German or French; additional languages highly desirable.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to draft correspondence on behalf of the principal.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, calendar and travel management tools, and secure communications platforms.
Personal Attributes
- Absolute discretion, integrity and respect for confidentiality at all times.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented and quality-driven, with an instinct to anticipate rather than react.
- Calm, composed and resourceful under pressure, with sound commercial and personal judgement.
- Service-minded and culturally sensitive, comfortable engaging with senior advisors, dignitaries and household staff alike.
- Genuinely flexible regarding hours and travel, with the energy and stamina to sustain a demanding international schedule.
Other Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for extended periods at short notice.
- Valid driving licence and a clean record.
- Right to live and work in Switzerland, or willingness to relocate (relocation support available for the right candidate).
- Successful completion of background, reference and security checks.
