Cloud Network Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimise secure, scalable cloud networking solutions across Azure and AWS. This role will focus on high‑availability architecture, hybrid connectivity, and enterprise‑grade network security while ensuring optimal performance and reliability across cloud and on‑premises environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimise cloud network architectures aligned with business and security requirements
• Manage and maintain Azure/AWS networking components including VNETs/VPCs, subnets, NSGs, security groups, firewalls, route tables, private endpoints, and load balancing
• Implement and support hybrid connectivity solutions such as VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and on‑prem integration
• Troubleshoot complex network issues including latency, DNS resolution, routing, and connectivity across cloud and on‑prem systems
• Monitor, analyse, and optimise network performance, availability, and resilience
• Support enterprise security initiatives including network segmentation, zero‑trust patterns, and governance controls
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable and compliant network solutions

Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud networking
• Deep knowledge of cloud network performance optimisation and reliability design
• Proven experience with enterprise network security, governance, and compliance standards
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalling, and traffic management in hybrid environments
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex cross‑platform networking issues
• Experience supporting large‑scale, production cloud environments
