Job Description
As a Network Rapid Response Manager (NRR), you will help lead the NRR team in Incident and Problem Management along with performing Major Incident resolution, Incident Reduction & Team Mentorship. You will help build a meaningful engineering discipline, combining processes, tools and DevOps to develop creative engineering solutions to operations problems.
The Network Engineer must have a strong knowledge of Routing and switching, Load Balancing, Proxies and Firewalls. Experience in protocol Analyzers (NetFlow, Riverbed, Wireshark, cPacket) and Management tools (SevOne, ThousandEyes).

- Experience in production and infrastructure support.
- Knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met.
- Executes within a customer-centric environment.
- Strong Written and Communication Skills
- Strong work ethic in a mission-critical 24x7 diverse environment with multiple vendor/customer relationships.
- Ability to perform incident management & lead a team of operations engineers on troubleshooting high-profile Major Incidents. Where appropriate develop mitigation plans. This will include working with Tier 4/Product Engineering, LOB’s, and Vendors.
- Ability to perform post-incident analysis with detailed documentation & communication on process improvements to senior management.
- Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals using Agile practices.
- Ability to articulate and share clear, concise complex technical findings to management in understandable terms and postmortem reviews.
- Experience troubleshooting large-scale enterprise network topologies including LAN, WAN, Wireless, Network Security. Examples include Routers (Cisco – ASR/GSR/Nexus/Juniper) Switches (Cisco), Wireless (Cisco), Transport (Cisco/Ciena). Firewall (Check Point and Fortinet), Load Balancers (F5), Proxy (Blue Coat), Etc. Certifications in these areas preferred.
- Experience diagnosing performance issues in complex distributed applications leveraging infrastructure and application telemetry.
- Experience in Packet Capture tools and analysis. (NetFlow, Riverbed, TCPdumps and cPacket)
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python & Ansible for DevOps
- Ability to identify manual operational tasks and influence automation development to solve problems in a modern SRE support model.
- Certification Required: CCNP or equivalent, AWS Cloud Certification or equivalent.
