Embedded Software Development Engineer (m/f/d)

NXP’s Security and Connectivity department is working on a secure NFC and eUICC platform used on mobile platforms. We are looking for a motivated and talented software engineer to join our JavaCard OS development team in Gratkorn.

What You Will Do

• Collaboration on embedded software projects in the field of NFC, eUICC and security
• Participation in software design, code and test plans / needed test coverage
• Design and implementation of Software / Firmware running on smart card microcontrollers
• Contribution to effort estimation and project planning
• Documentation of architecture and modules
• Active contribution to an agile software development process
• Familiarity and comfortable working with international standards
  
  

What You Bring

• Degree from a recognized University (Engineering or Computer Science)
• Programming skills on embedded microcontrollers (ARM or similar)
• Good knowledge in Java and C/C++ programming
• Experience in Software testing
• Interest in working in international team
  
  

Beneficial Skills

• Java Card Architecture, SW Architecture Design for Smart Cards
• Knowledge of embedded UICC
• Standards like Global Platform, VISA, Mastercard, EMVco
• Security algorithms
  
  

Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
