DevOps Engineer

Your tasks:

• Server Maintenance & Monitoring: Maintain, monitor, and ensure the health of our on-premise servers.
• Incident Response & Support: Respond to system outages and support requests, minimizing downtime and ensuring quick resolutions.
• Release Validation: Collaborate with developers to ensure systems are validated during software releases.
• Apache & PHP Application Hosting: Manage hosting environments for PHP applications using Apache (this is essential).
• Linux Server Management: Oversee Linux servers, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.
• Team Communication: Regularly update the team on system health, issues, and improvements.
• Automation & CI/CD: Support the automation of tasks and help enhance our CI/CD pipelines.

Your skillset:

• Strong experience with Apache & PHP hosting (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of Linux servers and system administration.
• DevOps Expertise: Familiarity with automation tools and CI/CD best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work with support, tech, and marketing teams to solve problems and optimize systems.
• Strong Troubleshooting Skills: Capable of diagnosing and resolving technical issues quickly.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience using tools to ensure server uptime and performance.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of scripting (Bash, Python) and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Familiarity with hybrid on-premise/cloud environments.
